We have been alerted of a CELL PHONE scam. The scam details are provided below:

The fraudulent automated cell text-message states to call back. The caller provides a return number and might ask you to provide personal financial information. DO NOT CALL OR GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION OR ANY ACCOUNT INFORMATION.

The company being involved in this scam is not endorsed or authorized by NBEECU. If you should receive a call, text message on your cell phone or in email form resembling the message described above, DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER PROVIDED. If you have fallen victim to this scam or have questions regarding this alert, please contact NBEECU at 973-375-9182 immediately. For security purposes, NBEECU will NEVER contact you directly and ask for account information via telephone, text message or email.

Don't delay! Deadline for application is April 9, 2010.

Husbands, wives, children, brothers, sisters, parents, grandparents or grandchildren are now allowed to open their own accounts! Family membership also includes stepparents, stepchildren, stepsiblings and adoptive relationships

Family members can open their own share (savings) account with the required $50 minimum balance. Thereafter, they have the same access to our services as do the current members. They can have share draft (checking) accounts, ATM/POS cards, Audio Response System, share certificates (CDs), IRAs, Christmas Clubs, and Vacation Clubs.

Family members can also apply for any of the loans which we offer such as; First Mortgages, Signature (Personal) Loans, Vacation Loans, Holiday Loans, and New and Used Car Loans
